SOLDIER’S LEAP - Escaping The Jacobites | Killiecrankie, Scotland | Autumn Leaf Watercolour | Ep41

Hello & welcome along on this walk! If you're new here - my name is Sarah and each week I head out on a walk with my faithful companion Jack Spaniels, to explore somewhere in this beautiful country of Scotland and hopefully find something to paint back in my studio at home. Today we are back in beautiful Perthshire - I just couldn't stay away, as the leaves are at peak autumn colours! We weren't intending to go on a walk on this day, but the weather forecast was on our side and I knew that woods around Killiecrankie would look spectacular in the autumn sunshine. There is so much history at Killiecrankie - a Jacobite battle, a daring escape over the roaring river and even a royal visit by Queen Victoria. Join me as we explore the beautiful viewpoints and waterfalls around Killiecrankie on a gorgeous sunny autumn day. I found the most autumnal leaf ever during this walk and challenged myself to try and capture its colours and textures in watercolour. Find out how I did at the end of this video!
