I have received many emails requesting my opinion on the D3500, so I decided to put the camera through the paces. The image quality rivals the D3400 and D3300 as they seem to share the same sensor and resolution. Nikon added the ability to remotely trigger the shutter via SnapBridge which is nice. In addition, they increased the battery usage by 30% which is another nice feature. Nonetheless, I feel Nikon crippled the camera to some extent by removing the IR sensor and function button. Overall, I feel this camera is a worthy consideration if you want to up your photography and jump into the world of DSLRs. Music by: J Hacha de Zola (song is 7 League Boots)
