I am a big fan of string lights but incandescent ones in particular. I find most LED string lights on the market to be too garish, especially the multicoloured ones. Thankfully, after much anticipation, Tru-Tone Bulbs have recently released their Mini Lites. Tru-Tone Bulbs is a US-based small business specialising in LED string lights which are designed to look exactly like incandescent bulbs. They started with chunkier C7 and C9 bulbs and are gradually expanding with more products. Their products run on 110V which would require a step-down voltage converter in most countries, however, this is the first product that use a DC transformer plug which can be easily swapped with a local version with the same specifications. I 'had to' order a set and here are my first impressions! I'll be doing more videos comparing them to incandescent Christmas lights and NOMA's retro LED fairy lights.
