Rescuing a flying-fox who smacked into a motorcycle; this is Rolypoly

Rolypoly is an adult male Grey-Headed Flying-Fox who was noticed on the ground, then climbing up a fence. On a previously empty road Rolypoly chose to fly across the road as soon as a motorcyclist zoomed by. He hit the cyclist, not the bike, and ricocheted off onto the road, where he was herded back to the verge garden by the lovely mop Zane, who then kept him from kamikaze-ing onto the road every time a car passed, until I arrived. He was hanging off the handlebars of a Lime Bike (an e-bike franchise for inner city travel). Of course he headed further into the verge garden and I had to chase him, and prevent him from scampering across the road again, but he wasn't difficult to catch. He's quite large so he has been difficult to handle; his neck is huge with lots of loose scruff and I have broad hands with short fingers, which makes control of such a large boy challenging. When I got him home and weighed him he weighed in at just over 1 kilogram, which is huge for a Grey. He's obviously been bulking himself up for breeding season. He's not a happy chappie in any way, screaming at me and making life difficult. I expect he will be a different boy in the morning when all his adrenaline has worn off and he's bruised all over and sore and sorry for himself. The only injury I can find is a tiny tear in one eyelid, and he's got a graze one one knee. Thanks MOP Zane who protected Mr Rolypoly from inadvertently suiciding by motor vehicle, and calling for help. Roly's name went through a few iterations before I finally decided. First he was just Lime Bike, then he was Bikie, then he was Kamikaze, then I looked up heavyweight Bikies, and came up with Comancheros and Bandidos, but it was only when handling him and noticing all his rolypoly scruff and fat that I settled on Rolypoly.
