With yellow painted wall and ample lighting, it is cosy and inviting. There is also a wine counter. We had deep fried chicken spring rolls (MYR22), vegetarian claypot (MYR28) and deep fried eggplant (MYR18), For drinks, I ordered the pina colada (MYR27) and wife had the lime juice with ginger (MYR15). A very simple and authentic Vietnamese meal which we enjoyed very much. The spring rolls were deeply fried and came with lot of herbs and greeny salad. Wrap with mint leave and dip in the sweet sauce, it is simply delicious. Instead of having too much meat, we went for the vegetarian claypot. Ingredients included tofu, carrot, spring onion and mushroom over steamed white rice. A nice change. Eggplant was soft and a little oily. The skin was too hard to consume. I believe you will just skip the skin. The pina colada was a concoction of pineapple juice, rum and coconut milk. I could taste the strong flavour of coconut. Nice. Lime juice with ginger has a very strong taste of ginger. If you like authentic Vietnamese food, this may a right restaurant in the Changkat Bintang area. Service is good.
