In this video I take my Radical ProSport and start the process of building fully custom aerodynamic components by first 3D scanning the entire car. The goal is to capture accurate surface data so I can bring the car into CAD software, design new aero, and eventually manufacture parts that are optimized specifically for this chassis. Instead of guessing dimensions or measuring by hand, a high-resolution 3D scan lets me create a precise digital model of the car. From there I’ll be able to design things like: • Custom front splitter • Improved rear wing elements • Underbody aero and diffusers • Brake ducting and airflow management Once the scan is complete, the next step is converting the mesh into usable geometry and starting the aerodynamic design process in CAD. This is the first step in turning the Radical into a digitally engineered race car, and I’ll be documenting the entire process from scanning → CAD → manufacturing → track testing.
