This sight is amazing and beautiful. Full of greenery ,fresh vegetables , flowers , birds ,lush foliage of ever green turtle vines all around make this roof top space extremely special and extra ordinary . Hats off to Mr Sudin, a lecturer ,media person & musician ,for converting this empty dry terrace space in to a beautiful green paradise with the help of rain shelter .Rain shelter is normally used for small scale farming and kitchen gardening . In this method, a Transparent UV stabilized polythene sheets with 200 micron thickness should be used as a protective cover. Its roof can be shaped like a semi-circle or sloped trellis to prevent rain water from falling in to the plants . The agriculture department provides subsidy for building rain shelters. So let’s start growing our own fresh vegetables. Prepare the potting mix by mixing sand, red soil, dry cow dung ,compost or cocopeat in 1:1:1 ratio and plant your favourite vegetables .Once you start it’s extremely easy to grow them on your own. Thank you. #RainShelter #MazaMaraKrishy #TurtleVineCare
