In this video I will share with you what I consider to be the best five hikes in the northern Cairngorms that can be undertaken in a day. Two of the routes are short, low level hikes and the other three take us onto the Cairngorm plateau and to the summits of three of the highest mountains in the UK. Route One - Sgòr Gaoith from Glen Feshie Route Two - Uath Lochans Route Three - Ben Macdui via Loch Etchacan Route Four - Craigellachie (above Aviemore) Route Five - Cairn Gorm Circular Times shown include stops for rest and refreshment.
