This year’s Nationals was extra special… because it happened right here in my hometown of St. George! Surrounded by my friends, my family, and the red rock desert I grew up in — it was the perfect backdrop to debut something BIG. 👉 I shot the brand-new Colt Optics Ready 1911 in 9mm, running it in Limited 10. This platform is everything I love about the 1911, but now with the capability to run a dot — and finally being able to shoot optics on my favorite gun platform feels like a dream come true. The gun is smooth, fast, and an absolute blast to push to its limits. This nationals had all the energy: new gun, hometown crowd, and the challenge of learning optics on a platform I’ve built my career around.
