Understanding Scheimpflug Movements on the TS-E 17mm Lens

The tilting movement on a TS lens is explained with the Scheimpflug principle. Normally, the film/sensor, lens and focal planes all the three are parallel, and their intersection is in infinity. When with tilt/rotate the lens plane, it automatically rotates the focal planes too, since the three planes have a common crossing/pivot point/axis. With the focus ring we can create an unlimited number of focal planes at varying distances, all of them starting from the common Scheimplug axis/point. When we have a specific arrangement of two objects that are not parallel to the sensor, we can make them all in focus by rotating the lens. I used my Canon TS-E 17mm lens on Sony A9 (Metabones IV).
