Ever wonder how a 2019 Beta 500RR-S would hold up against a 450 ktm, and a 250 two stroke in an off road battle? Now some of your questions are answered! The Beta sounds slow compared to the other bikes, but honestly, its very fast. Beta pushed this bike to the legal limits that the EPA would allow, and made a street legal bike that is fully capable in the dirt. As most of you know, it's not an easy task to make a street legal dirt bike due to emissions, noise, and safety compliance standards. I would feel pretty comfortable racing this bike off road. Lap time, and drag races don't matter all that much to an every day user, but those who want a single, do-it-all bike definitely need a bike that can do just that. The Beta doesn't disappoint! I would like to echo one thing again... This bike had a bald back tire during this testing. I'm pretty sure it would have hung with the Husqvarna on the track had i been using a fresh rear tire.
