I also replaced the water pump gasket and found a lot of calcium deposits inside the pipes. In this video (pt2)    • Volvo Penta TMD22 Cooling System Overhaul ...   I take apart and clean the oil cooler by removing the insert from the housing and flushing acid through the tubes. In pt3:    • Volvo Penta TMD22 Heat Exchanger Service |...   I remove the heat exchanger/aftercooler insert, give it a clean and re-assemble everything back together.. with mixed results. Note to self - count the oil seals coming off - and count the new ones going in!
