The Stikini of Seminole legend and folklore is said to live in the area of Stikland Oklahoma and interestingly enough, did not exist in Seminole legend before they were moved out during the trail of tears. As they moved in here they began to tell stories of man/owl hybrids. These are the creatures they came to Stikini. However if you speak of these creatures it’s said you too are at risk of becoming a Stikini. The Stikini are extremely powerful and dangerous and there’s only a handful of ways to defeat them and they all revolve around their intestines and organs. Silver stakes and bullets won’t sop this man owl creature of the night. Similar to werewolves these creatures change in the dark of the night but they’re not bound to the lunar cycles.
