New artificial reef off of Manasquan Inlet, NJ

New artificial reef beginning to take place off of Manasquan Inlet (about 2 miles), some 70 plus concrete blocks were dropped about ten days ago. I was hired by a production company to document how they landed for the end client, who donated all the materials and equipment to get them there. 150 in total will be landed in the end. In only a few days, fish are already finding a new home, although a bit too soon for lobsters! In 70' of water, the shallowest piece is 58' in depth. Not much to look at now, but we will revisit once a year to see how this develops. Thank you Captain Nick Caruso and the "Ol Salty II" for a fine day on the water, and Alan Dynan for being my buddy at depth. Captain Jim Wilson and the "Gypsy Blood" took the client out the day the blocks were dropped and video was captured then, as well as drone footage. These blocks are huge....
