Exploring Kanchanaburi Thailand with Intrepid

We truly hope you enjoy this, and the rest of our series, Intrepid Premium SE Asia In Depth videos! This is Part 2 of a multi part series following our travels through Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. We begin our day leaving Central Bangkok for a community that specializes in painted porcelain. After learning about the history we paint our own pieces. A stop for a nice lunch precedes our visit to the Death Railway museum and the Commonwealth Cemetery. Dinner and a nice sleep in our U Inchantree Kanchanaburi resort readies us for Day 2. We depart the hotel at 8:00am to visit the waterfalls in the Erawan National Park. Another visit to learn about the history of the railway that runs through the area gives us time to reflect on the horrors the men faced.
