On A Clear Day You Can See Forever - "Come Back To Me" and "Finale" (Sung by John Cullum and Cast)

Here is John Cullum singing "Come Back To Me" as Dr. Mark Bruckner in "On A Clear Day You Can See Forever." This bright and somewhat offbeat musical about a psychiatrist (played by Cullum) who falls in love with the past self of his patient Daisy Gamble (played by the remarkable Barbara Harris) as she falls in love with his current self opened in 1965 with music by Burton Lane and book/lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner. While the show was very poorly received, its score was praised and ran a respectable 280 performances. The only award the production received was a Theater World Award for Cullum. A drastically revised film was released in 1970 starring Barbra Streisand and Yves Montand, attempting to fix some of the book problems that sunk the show originally. An even more heavily revised revival opened to very dismal reviews in late 2011.
