"WHITE GOD" is a protest song, a prayer, and a confrontation. This song questions the image of God shaped by empire, slavery, and power, contrasting it with Jesus of Nazareth — a poor carpenter, born among the oppressed, executed by the system. Blending spoken word, blues, gospel, and hard rock, WHITE GOD confronts religious hypocrisy, racial injustice, and the misuse of faith as a tool of domination. This is not an attack on Jesus. It is a challenge to the systems that painted Him to justify chains, whips, and silence. “If the Son sets you free, you are free indeed.” Listen with an open mind. This song is meant to disturb, not to decorate. Lyrics: [Intro] Hmm-mmm... Oh Lord... [Verse 1] I don't belong in this world, no... Just a stranger walkin' on this dusty ground. Chains hold the flesh, tie the knot real tight, But the soul... Lord, the soul takes flight. They bought my sweat, sold my pain for a dime, Spilled my blood, and my people's blood been cryin' all the time. [Bridge: Spoken Word Jazz] Oh Lord! They say we’re children of Grace... But they painted Your face like the man who spit in my face. Call You a "White God," a European saint, But readin' the Book... man, that just ain't! Your people ate bread the Devil kneaded in Egypt land, 400 years under the whip... don't that sound like my hand? Hunted down, marked up, no nation to call home... Does that look like the bossman, or the skin on my bone? If You were the "God of Gold," You'd be born in a palace suite, But You were a poor carpenter... ain't that the truth on the street? So tell me, Lord... I ain't no mule, I ain't no machine, I ain't no sack of grain! I’m a human being! Alive! Not worth more when I’m slain! I ain't no merchandise for a merchant's store... If I’m made in Your image... then You got my skin, for sure! [Chorus: Hard Rock Explosion] SO BREAK IT! Break the shackles off the soul and the hand! If the Son sets you free, you're a free man! I don't want no whip, I want Salvation's might! Jesus of Nazareth, brother in the fight... The blood flowin' from the cross, wash the plantation white! [Verse 2: Slow Blues] World offers shortcuts, roads of silver and gold, But round the bend, it's just the whip being cold. Pilate washed his hands, asked "What is true?" While the lies were runnin' everything, me and you. [Pre-Chorus: Gospel Crescendo] They got the power, the maps, and the gun, Think they own my rising and setting sun. But I heard Your voice, cuttin' through the strife: "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life." Can chain up my body, but my spirit roams free, I deny this empire, no master over me! I cast off the fear, I drop the heavy load... And give my life to the One who walks the righteous road! [Guitar Solo] [Chorus: Anthem Energy] SO BREAK IT! Break the shackles off the soul and the hand! If the Son sets you free, you're a free man! I don't want no whip, I want Salvation's might! Jesus of Nazareth, brother in the fight... The blood flowin' from the cross, wash the plantation white! [Outro] Wash it clean... Yeah, wash the soul... He's the only one who treats me good. My brother. Amen.
