this video shows how I make big, beautiful crackles in slab clay with a throwing technique. What you'll need: -Thick slab of clay in one colour -Clay slip or underglaze in a contrasting colour. -Sodium Silicate -Two clean brushes (more if you want to do various underglaze colours) -Heatgun, blow torch or hairdryer (I use a hairdryer in this video) -Board or surface you can comfortably throw onto.
