Dr Timothy Noël Peacock is a Lecturer in History and War Studies, and Director/co-founder of the University of Glasgow Games and Gaming Lab (UofGGamesLab). Tim’s cross-disciplinary research in history is underpinned by interlocking interests across nuclear history, space security, games and wargaming, to AI and politics, including socio-political and military impacts of new technologies (from Serious Games on Solar Storm impacts to articles on meme-based warfare). His work brings together these interests to explore new ways of understanding and tackling societal challenges. Tim has worked with public, private and non-profit/charitable sectors, including collaborations with organisations from the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority to St Giles' Cathedral.
