This collection of songs was deeply inspired by the Gospel of Matthew and the quiet beauty of everyday faith. As I wrote “Light Through the Window,” I reflected on Matthew 5:14–16 — “You are the light of the world.” I imagined gentle morning light pouring through a window, reminding us that even small acts of love can shine brightly. With “Quiet Grace,” I held onto the words of Matthew 5:5 — “Blessed are the meek.” Grace does not need to be loud to be powerful. It moves softly, like a whisper in prayer, just as we are reminded in Matthew 6:6 to seek God in the quiet place. “Slow Faith” was inspired by Matthew 17:20, where Jesus speaks about faith the size of a mustard seed. Faith does not have to rush; it grows steadily, patiently. “Table by the Morning Sun” carries the warmth of renewal found in Lamentations 3:22–23, where mercy is new every morning. And in “Blessed in the Afternoon,” I reflected on the comfort of Matthew 11:28–29 — “Come to me… and you will find rest for your souls.” These songs blend soft jazz, piano lounge, smooth vocals, and peaceful instrumental textures, creating a calm and reflective atmosphere — perfect for prayer, relaxation, study, or quiet moments in a café setting.
