Anglicare Sydney is a large not-for-profit organisation with 23 residential care homes and in this episode, Analou shares her journey from practicing nurse in the Philippines to becoming a leader driving clinical excellence and innovation in Australia's aged care sector. We discuss how Anglicare is moving beyond compliance to achieve excellence in care through their Practice Excellence Model and their unique, faith-based approach. Analou highlights the critical importance of combating social isolation and the inspiring success stories stemming from person-centred wellness and rehabilitation strategies. She also offers a valuable perspective on supporting our diverse international workforce which is a challenge she understands deeply as an immigrant herself.
