I would like to part with my photo and cinema collection - my life's work - which I have amassed over the last 50 years. The collection really belongs in a museum, it's a shame to tear it up. All efforts and attempts to talk to “decision-makers” and find a solution have failed. It seems to be good manners these days to refuse to talk and not answer letters, which unfortunately has happened to me umpteen times. The final consequence for me is now to sell. The price I have in mind (5-digit amount) is roughly equivalent to the value of a better SUV. However, a complete purchase is a condition. The collection comprises approx. 4,000 items from the fields of photography and film. A large number of additional equipment completes the whole. The specialist library and archive cover a length of approx. 40 meters on the shelves. A very large number of objects from the fields of photography and cinema complete the collection.
