This video captures the whitewater of Day 2 and Day 4 of our river trip in high-frame-rate slow motion, bringing the action, power, and color of the canyon to life. On Day 2, we hit our first major Grand Canyon rapids — explosive whitewater, huge waves, and that unmistakable adrenaline rush that only the Colorado River can deliver. Shot in HFR, every splash, hit, and drop feels unreal. Day 3 takes us into the bright-blue waters of the Little Colorado River, one of the most magical places on Earth. The contrast between the LCR’s turquoise mineral water and the deep red canyon walls is straight out of a dream. From floating downstream in that surreal blue glow to cliff-jumping back on the main river, these were the kinds of moments that make a Grand Canyon trip unforgettable. Day 4 delivers a change to the color palette that will stay with us from the duration of the trip as we tackles rapids below and above the passing of the suspension bridges near Phantom Ranch, highlighted with passage through Crystal Rapids.
