O Mur Aapunar Desh is the state song of Assam, India. Here we try to present to you a Classical Guitar version of the song. The lyric was first published as poem in the year 1909 in Assamese magazine Baahi. It was adopted as the state song of my state in 1927. The time signature of the song is ¾, (Indian Dadra taal). Our version is in the key of “A” major. As life carries me through this journey filled with so many strifes, tribulations and success too, my motherland Assam is always with me, occupying a special place in my heart. I can never forget her in my brightest as well as my darkest of times.
