Everyone has a fear! But who can accept it, face it? Here’s the story of a 20 year old man trying to face his greatest fear; the Fear of Water. The fear of water subtly refers to the fear of one’s reflection. A reflection has the ability to reveal someone’s past, present and future. And so, the young man found himself in front of a mirror; reflecting all the darkness of his past. A father gone from sight too soon. An abusive stepbrother too violent and mentally destroyed to realise the damage done to the young man. A deep scar born from loneliness and prejudices, and drawn by the one he needed the most. Words spoken to break and actions done to hurt; moments where he could all but wonder: “Why me? Why so cruel?” The young man could do nothing but worry… About his future… About the possibility of happiness, strength and courage, of waking up free of deadly problems consuming him little by little! But then, it all made sense. There was no point in running away from them. No matter where he would go, they would be there. In hopes of a better future, this 20 year old man chose to sync the sound of his feet and heart with the music of life. He was, finally, living in the present; searching for a piece of light to brighten his path one day after the other. He’s never coming back. That was the story of his past. What you shall soon see, is the beginning of his present.
