2017 Chevy Camaro SS Emblem removal and install Install time, we finally do the Camaro SS emblem swap on the front and rear. This is long overdue and is super simple to do. there are multiple methods to remove the emblems and we used our heat gun and did lite quick passes back and forth. We did this not damaging the paint, but enough to reactivate the adhesive on the emblem its self. We install the GM Parts Guy SS blacked out emblem and it came out awesome. You can use fishing line and cut the SS emblem off if you choose to. Either way, you will need some nonabrasive adhesive remover to completely clean the area before installation of the new product.
