Lockdown sucks, big time! So I decided that I'd do some more online research, get down into the detail of my permissions and a couple I have an eye on. And one of the best research tools I know is the Tithe Maps and the Tithe Apportionment lists - an absolute goldmine of information! Only problem is that the physical records are held at the National Archive and/or the local county records offices - doubt visiting them would be viewed as essential travel ;-( Fortunately they are also online at TheGenealogist website... which made me wonder if they'd be interested in doing some sort of special subscription package for Detectorists, well figured I might as well ask!
