Nor a bad the good." I've read and heard many complaints about Jaime's redemption arc being wasted. Specifically the way he went back to Cersei and the betrayal of his character by saying, "I never really cared much for [the innocent]." I re-watched all the episodes during this quarantine, and just like Dany's character, I had no problem with Jaime going back to Cersei solely due to the countless scenes and evidences showing his unreasonable love for her, and also his own adamant words, "Nothing matters. Only us." I also believe that he didn't really care for the innocents. I mean, any guy who pushes a boy out the window definitely doesn't equate whatsoever of caring for the innocent. He may have saved King's Landing, but if Aerys had never commanded Jaime to bring his father's head, I doubt Jaime would even try to save them.
