The Learning Journey for Refugee Teens: Understanding opportunities for this forgotten cohort - I

Speakers: Charlie Grosso, Founder, Hello Future Mohammed Thamer, Country Director, Hello Future Hello Future hosted a two day participatory design workshop and journey mapping that starts with the refugee learners, where participants will assume and embody the perspective of a 14 year old refugee student and journey map our way through a myriad of obstacles and chart educational and livelihood opportunities. Our goal for the journey mapping experience is to uncover a broad spectrum set of essential skills, hard and soft, that are critical but often overlooked to all successful learning and development. The workshop will include a short storytelling course and the participants will share the learning journey in a narrative form.
