This video was recorded in July of 2021 Demonstration timestamps: Remote control speeds: 0:34 Factory speeds: 6:11 This video is about the 50" Casablanca Panama 5 Ceiling Fan in Bright Brass with the model number 12222D. The Slumber 3 Panama 5 fans are pretty rare and only sold from 1986-1991. This fan was made on October 7, 1987. Was the 637th fan made on that day. It originally was installed at my aunt's house back when she bought it for the living room and was installed by my grandpa and uncle (who passed away in 2010 from a stroke). 1 year later, my aunt was going to Las Vegas and tried to turn it off while it was hotwired and the pullchain broke stuck on high speed, so my grandpa later rewired the fan to have it turned off on the on/off switch. This fan was since then replaced with a Hampton Bay Bercello Estates II because she needed a fan with a light kit and change the speeds in 2012, and the pullchain has been replaced in January of 2019 by using the one from my Delta II after replacing the PC board. It was in the box for years at my grandma's house until I dug it up in January of 2019 to found out the original pullchain went bad. This is also one of my very first Casablanca fan I ever owned. The light kit you see here is a K5L light kit with 4 G606 side glass and G811 center glass. The motor is equipped with a 140x25mm Emerson K55 motor with the bottom end bell ventless. The bearings on this fan had since been replaced as of July of 2022. There's also an old video of this fan in the living room at my aunt's house from December of 2011, but the video was lost as the iPad 2 has since been broken due to the microphone, charger port, and the electronics failing. For demonstration purposes, the Casablanca 99195 universal wall remote control and 99199 receiver are being demonstrated with capacitor values 5/10/15. Designed by Warren E. Dennis
