Ripper/Judas Priest bass by Cara This was a pretty easy song until I decided to add the guitar parts, then it took some work, but it seemed to me like the bass should have more agency!! So, the lick at the beginning and the stuff in the middle. The rest of the song it pretty standard heavy metal bass, thump thump thump the root gently down the stream, but it was still fun and I've been doing songs from my Dad's old heavy metal covers list for the past week or so. That might be it for now, I have some other interesting stuff coming up. The Rickenbacker is still in the shop, as I mentioned, getting set up after a year's wear and tear but I should do my first Rick vid of my 2nd year of recording this week.
