PHILIPPINES 🇵🇭 Finally develop another new Advance Weapon System!

The Department of Science and Technology Metals Industry Research and Development Center (DOST-MIRDC) in cooperation with the Philippine Army and Mechatronics and Robotics Society of the Philippines is developing a new Remote Controlled Weapon System (RCWS) which it calls the Controller Operated Battle Ready Armament (COBRA). Compared to the DOST-Philippine Navy BUHAWI project, COBRA has a 360° turn, more compact and has an integrated power supply which allows it to be mounted on tactical vehicles. Meanwhile BUHAWI can only turn 270° and is larger and more suitable for mounting on ships and boats. The D O S T is tendering foe the supply of labor and materials for installation programming and integration of the COBRA Control System, which may mean that the prototype mount itself may have already been completed.
