This Trick is all about inserting a New Column into a DataFrame in a specific location and not at the end. Let's check how we can do that 🔹 Tips and Tricks on Adding Column to data frame in Python Pandas. By default, when you try to create a new column in a data frame, it goes to the end of the data frame. If you do that, and but you want to have that column in the very first location, or somewhere in between you again how to rearrange the columns in a certain fashion. Rearranging columns manually is not a nice job to do, it takes time. So what can we do in that case, let's see this based on the Titanic data set, I'm creating a new column called mean class fare. Using transform to create this this column we are going to create. So first, create the content or the series that you want to insert into the data frame, then use the insert method, tell which position you want this to go and name of the column and the value of the series itself. Doing this, this will insert in that specific position, mean class fare, this goes right next to fare by default, this would go to the end of the data frame over here.
