A hunk of 2x4 with a slot cut in it with a table saw would probably work just as well! I'm trying to improve my audio/video quality, while still making it easy to film while I work. I just got this microphone recently. It's VERY easy to use and I think it sounds pretty good, but I'll need to move the mic further from my mouth next time. I'm sure there's other ways to do it, but this worked pretty good for me.
