The procedures I had performed were forehead type-3 reconstruction, the orbital shave, my jaw and my chin. I think the surgery was the hardest I’ve been through and I think it makes sense that it is – I had quite a few things done at once. I would rate the level of pain on the first two days while I was still in the hospital as maybe a five out of ten; it was not bad but after the first two days it started to get a lot easier and a lot of the swelling and discomfort went down and I started to feel a lot more like myself. The aftercare was very good, they have a whole team here and they’ve got massages and acupuncture and they really follow through to make sure that your recovery goes as smoothly as possible. My healing is wonderful, I mean I’m still young so I heal pretty quickly but there have been no complications or scars. I feel very good about the results already and my boyfriend seems to think that I look wonderful and I feel that I look great. I look like the same person but just with those parts that made me feel uncomfortable corrected. I will be much more comfortable in my own skin and I already am, and that was the goal to just continue my life as normal just more comfortable with myself and happier.
