Take a first in-depth look at my free C-130J cargo sandbox mission, set on the cold and rainy Kola Map for DCS World. In this video, I fly the mission and walk you through its structure, key features, and the overall gameplay experience you can expect. This mission was born out of spending far more time with the C-130J than originally planned and realizing that cargo flying offers a completely different way to enjoy DCS. Instead of fast jets and weapons employment, this is a peaceful but demanding cargo-hauling sandbox. The mission dynamically generates cargo demands across the entire map, giving the Hercules a real job to do and the player a reason to plan, navigate, and adapt. You’ll experience constantly changing routes, a wide variety of airfields, challenging approaches, and weather conditions that keep every flight interesting.
