San Rafael Essential Facilities - DESIGN UPDATES

We are making great progress with the development of our public safety facilities and the designs by our Architect, Mary McGrath are receiving excellent reviews by the community. Both Fire Stations 52 (3rd and Union) and 57 (Civic Center) have received strong support from their respective neighborhoods and the community at large and have also been endorsed by the Design Review Board. The Downtown Public Safety Center received a conceptual level review by the Design Review Board on March 22nd. The facility received positive feedback and will return to the DRB in April as the Fire Stations move forward to review by the Planning Commission. It’s very exciting as we work toward completion dates in 2018 for the Fire Stations and 2019 for the Public Safety Center. More information at www.cityofsanrafael.org/facilities.
