Welcome back to Polyblank! Today, we explore the hidden world of North Korean art, from unnamed sculptors to forgotten master painters, this video is an attempt to bring these incredible artists into the light. I myself went through a grand journey trying to find the names of North Korean artists and eventually found some whose art I really connected with. Especially one old master by the name of Hwang In Jae who has an incredible portfolio of unique artworks. I believe these people deserve to have their names known, even though they may not wish for fame. It is also quite unfortunate that we don't normally get to see their art. I hope at least that this video will make people more appreciative and knowledgeable on North Korean art and artists. This is one of those rare Polyblank videos where I'm actually serious for most of the vid. I hope you enjoy. Oh and thank you so much to all the people who have messaged me and sent me fan art. I got the background footage from @GogyGames Discord members who helped with the voiceovers, in order of appearance: HAMHAMS @GenghisChanUwU djinster barkin999 (also a youtuber) @Barkii fyrbud (set up the discord server himself, GOAT) This channel is an attempt to make art history videos fun to watch. Most music used is classical and can be found via Youtube.
