FOLLOW UP VISIT TO AKUA JANET, A WIDOW AND HER ORPHANED CHILDREN IN BREKU VILLAGE

Today, the Childlift Aid Foundation (CAF) team paid a follow-up visit to widow Akua Janet and her orphaned children in Breku Village. As part of the visit, the team delivered 20 bags of cement ahead of the block-moulding phase for the safe house construction, arranged for two of her children to temporarily attend a public school in Wasabiampa until CAF’s school in Keteke is completed, and agreed to fund a food-selling business for her through the Seed Capital for Rural Women initiative. CAF also met with Adiembra District Pastor and 2 Presiding elders to discuss Akua Janet’s reintegration into the church after several years of backsliding, emphasizing that while meeting physical needs is important, her salvation in Christ remains the foundation of CAF’s mission.
