How much should I be saving? Am I saving enough for my retirement? If you are asking yourself these questions...then you might not be saving enough. Well, maybe you're saving enough to be able to retire, but to retire comfortably with the lifestyle you want...probably not. If you're wondering if you are saving too much for retirement, then you'll like my concept regarding 'guilt free spending.' It is easy to 'set it and forget it' when it comes to saving for retirement. However, on a regular basis you should be challenging yourself to review your financial goals & make sure you're saving enough. In this video I share a 'back of the napkin' type of example of what it takes to be able to retire on $5,000 / monthly income (in today's dollars)...which when a 40 year old will turn 67 will actually be closer to $10,000 / monthly income needed due to inflation.
