Maandamano means protesting, Protesting is important because it's a way for people to have their voices heard, especially those who are underrepresented or ignored. Protests can be a powerful way to demand rights, and many rights and freedoms that people enjoy today were won through protest. Protesting in Tanzania seems like something which is impossible, it is taken like sinfully event, people feel at risk to participate in any way and for the protesters it is like you sign for your injuries or death. Because police and people in power think that they have the right to stop you by using any means they have. Considering the feeling of the person who devoted to protest because he feels that it is the only way to get relief because he feels he is suffocating. I come up with the beginning of a solution, this way can not replace the marching on streets method, it have to come but it is not the right time. For now I decided to go to the grassroots take their anger, opinions and noise, I put into music and go in the frontline bringing their message to the power in musical form. Waiting for the solution. Here are some reasons why people protest: Express public feeling: Protests reflect the public's feelings and can be a way to speak truth to those in power. 2. Demand rights: Protests can be a way to demand that rights are respected. 3.Bring about change: Protests can be a key tactic for bringing about positive change for human rights. 4. Show solidarity: Protests can be a way for citizens to band together in solidarity. 5. Mourn and remember: Protests can be a way to mourn and remember. Why is protest important? One action can spark a movement. If we work together, we can create a better world where everyone is equal and free from inequalities. Protest has played a vital role in making sure our human rights are acknowledged by institutions with power.
