We ALMOST DIDN'T Share This Video 😢 Our HORRIBLE trip: Catalina Island & Little Harbor Campground🏝

Our trip to Catalina Island was suppose to be an amazing camping trip to this beautiful remote oasis. ⛺️🏝 We were going to take a beautiful hike 🥾 with the dogs 🐶🐻, camp with our tent under that stars 🌟 listening to the waves crashing in the beach 🌊, go kayaking 🛶, and enjoy nights by the relaxing by the campfire 🔥 ..... let’s just say that didn’t go as planned. 😫 While the hike was beautiful, it was significantly more challenging than what we had anticipated seeing that is was essentially all uphill and in direct sunlight⛰ ☀️ ...... We had a few things break among them being out backpacking tent 🏕 and one of our sleeping pads 💤 ..... Maggie twisted her ankle only ten minutes into the hike 😬 and at the end of the hike Donald 🐾 slipped and pulled a muscle in his leg 😢....... We had to cancel the kayaks because the second day Donald 🐻 was not able to walk and just sat in a chair 🪑 all day....... To top it all off we were unsure how we were going to get back to the ferry ⛴ since Donald couldn’t walk and we couldn’t carry him the 7 miles back. 🥺 So we decided to ask the rangers👮‍♀️ to give us a ride back. We talked to a total of 9️⃣ rangers only to get the answer if we CAN’T help you guys so you should find a local who has a truck and hopefully they will take pity on you.🤷‍♀️🤦‍♂️ Not sure how we were going to get off Maggie got emotional. We were lucky 🍀 to meet some good people that offered to give us a ride back! In the morning Brandon and Gurley decided to hike 🥾back out while I stayed with Donald at the campground packed up and took a ride back. One of the rangers 👮‍♀️ ended up making his rounds and taking us saying he could no leave an injured dog stranded no matter what the rules are. 🙌🏻 We ended up cutting our trip short, but what is most important is we all got back safe and sound. It was definitely a misadventure to be sure! Catalina Island you were very beautiful and will always be remembered! Hopefully if we ever visit again we can have a trip without any issues‼️🤞🏻 ✌🏻Maggie & Brandon #catalinaisland #littleharborcampground #transcatalina
