I went back to play BO4 in 2025 on PC (Blizzard), so you don’t have to. While I was never a big fan of this game (in fact, I thought this was clearly one of the worst CoDs of all time), I wanted to go back and see if my feelings about this game were justified. My Other Social Media Accounts ⬇   / dominantforce64     / dominantforce64     / dominantforce64   The first challenge was just trying to find a game; a lot of people online claim that they are never able to find a lobby, so here is how I was able to reliably find a full (sometimes) lobby every day. In Blizzard, change your region to Europe and queue in the afternoon (US-EST). After about 5p.m. EST, you will likely not be able to find a lobby. Sometimes it would take me 30 minutes just to get into the lobby, so you have to be pretty dedicated if you’re wanting to play. You can only find TDM matches; don’t even try anything else. I’ve heard rumors of some people trying to organize Blackout games on Saturdays, but I’m confident that they wouldn’t have enough people to have a true match. Although, I must be honest, you are not missing out on much. Torque/Firebreak mains that sit in corners the entire game with their dragon breath shotguns and VMPs who CONSTANTLY talk trash in game chat in broken English (barecocunuts and karencita). The “stealth cheaters” and blatant cheaters are pretty common, unfortunately. By stealth cheating, I mean someone running around with modded classes that allow them to have 3 different pieces of gear (stim shot, equipment charge, and comsec device all on one class), infinite zero glitch/macro, infinite specialist/hotswapping specialists, jetpacks, aimbot, and even someone who can prevent the entire enemy team from respawning (resulting in the entire team being kicked for inactivity). BO4 is somehow the only Call of Duty that is NOT being sold on Steam (with the exception of CoD3). There is a BO4 client in development called T8 Shield, but progress is slow.
