As we hit the mid-season mark in NBA 2K25 MyCAREER, the honeymoon phase of the rookie season is over. The league has adjusted to our playstyle, the defenders are playing tighter, and every single bucket feels earned. In today’s episode, we’re diving back into the grind to prove that we aren't just a flash in the pan—we’re a cornerstone of the franchise. The Road to All-Star Weekend With the All-Star break right around the corner, the pressure is on to solidify our spot among the league’s elite. Episode 35 is all about efficiency. I’m pushing the limits of our build to maintain a high PPG while boosting our teammate grade. We’re currently hovering at the top of the Rookie of the Year ladder, but I have my sights set on something bigger: All-Star starter status. Can a rookie really command that much respect in Year 1? We’re about to find out. Inside This Episode: Key Matchups: We’re facing off against some of the toughest perimeter defenders in the league today. Watch as I try to navigate the new ProPLAY™ animations to create space and knock down those contested greens. Badge Progression: I’m finally seeing the fruits of the labor in the Team Practice Facility. We’ve managed to max out a couple of key Tier 1 Badges, and the difference on the court is night and day. The Dynasty Rankings: Our team is climbing the standings, but the chemistry still needs work. I’m focusing on playmaking this episode to get the rest of the squad involved and push for that top seed in the playoffs. Off-Court Drama: Between the trash-talk responses and the mounting expectations from the front office, being the "Face of the Franchise" is starting to get loud. The Build Evolution I’ve been tweaking the jump shot and testing out new dribble packages to keep the CPU guessing. If you’ve been following the series, you know we’ve had some shooting slumps lately, but I think I’ve finally found the "chicken" jump shot that’s going to carry us through the second half of the season.
