FOLLOW UP VIDEO: • FinnishBolshevik's attack on Kronstadt Part three of the Marxist-Leninist Myths series. A look into the flawed narratives within ML justifications. The sailor's Revolt at Kronstadt has always been a key rallying point from non-Leninist aligned socialists as the final unraveling of the Bolshevik tendency laid bare for all to see. Bolshevik supporters often reign down on the revolt by conjuring up conspiracy level interpretations to smear the strikers. But even if there were truths to these accounts within the fleet, I hope to showcase that such actions taken in response are anathema to revolutionary principles. 1. Newspaper referenced - Le Matin, Helsinki, February 11th. (Btw I'm willing to change 'Infiltrated to 'Leading' or 'Behind the Revolt' as I understand it can imply there were no whites looking in. There were, hence the memorandum, but their presence was meagre and their ability to move things doubly so) 2. Lenin, Collected works 32 p.270 https://www.marxists.org/archive/leni... Memorandum on the Question of Organizing an Uprising in Kronstadt Kronstadt, Avrich p.235 3. Ibid p.111 4. Report to the evacuation committee in Poland, reprinted in Kronshtadtskaya tragediya Vol 2 p.61 For more analysis I recommend this refutation https://archive.org/details/a-reply-t... 5. Kronstadt, the fate of soviet democracy p. 208 (The source only refers to the dates of enlistment and not where they served. I did, after an exhausting search, find on Pukhov and Semanov’s sources and it did appear to validate this. https://militera.lib.ru/research/sema... There is however debate, and is referenced in the prior refutation on 4^. As said, I’m not particularly relevant to the overall argument and welcome other inputs to this) ALSO! The Fleet has previously revolted in 1918, before any major changes. Also see Avrich p.90 6. Kronhtadtskaya tragediya 1921 p.119 *Something I forgot to add for 7:02 is also they also had committee meetings on the 4th, 8th and 11th. 7. In reference to pro Bolshevik Anti-semitism: “The Bolsheviks are on a rampage. I find myself thinking more and more about going abroad; as soon as the opportunity appears, I will leave… Yesterday I was standing in line, waiting to vote for the Constituent Assembly. People were saying, “Whoever’s against the Yids, vote for number 5! (meaning the Bolsheviks),” “whoever’s for world- wide revolution, vote for number 5!” The patriarch rode by, sprinkling holy water; everyone removed their hats. A group of soldiers passing by started to belt out the Internationale in his direction. Where am I? Or is this truly hell?” Russian Jews between the reds and the whites, p.64, Available on libgen “[In] a town of 5,000 inhabitants (210 Jewish families) ... Rosava bore witness to a Red Army pogrom from 27 February until 3 March 1919. The account that follows is from 2 March, and begins with Shmulevich having been arrested by the local Bolshevik regime and sentenced to death by a Revolutionary Tribunal along with six other Jews for no reason other than their being Jewish.” p.108 The first pogroms were committed by the Red Army. In Novhorod-Siverskyi 88 Jews were killed after weeks of repression. P.42 I would highly recommend Brendan’s book for more insight. Anti-Semitism and the Russian Revolution p.32 The Red Army were responsible for 106 pogroms, far far lower than anti-bolshevik forces, but still a significant number for a proclaimed progressive formation. The Pogroms In the Ukraine 1918-21 p.248 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nahum_G... (The point of this is not to say “AHA the Bolsheviks were anti-semites”, its to showcase that you can also find examples if you look hard enough and that this wouldn’t invalidate your side by dint of it) 8. Avrich p.13 9. To clarify here, of course there are people within any given sphere who are more skilled or knowledgeable than others, and certainly such people ought help those who are less so. The difference comes however when you give such self-described ‘advanced’ people privileges up a hierarchy of power over people’s lives. CPGB-ML claims that they are the most ‘advanced’ of the prolitariat, and they must lead the people. Would you trust them in power? There's no shortage of argument between Maoists and ML's and even 'Anti-Revisionist' ML's and Dengist ML's over who is the advanced. Anybody can claim they are advanced, so beyond unofficial general statements it becomes meaningless. 10.
