The unique feature is the fourth Calendar hand. Every night just after midnight, this fourth hand will move to the next day of the month on the calendar dial. You’ll always know the time and day of the month. This calendar hand has a separate control on the back of the movement, so it’s easy to adjust for shorter months like February. The case measures 2-1/4” square by 7/8” deep, so it fits into a wide variety of clock cases. The threaded shaft is 7/16” long and the overall shaft length is 7/8” long. Making it ideal for clock faces that are 3/8” thick or less. You can also “shorten” the shaft by using a few washers to “shim” it back in the case. Included with this movement is your FREE CHOICE of 45 pairs of American “I” shaft hour and minute hands. We also offer at no charge your choice of two different red calendar hands. Please note that all these hands can be trimmed back to the exact length you desire for your clock. We also have 9-7/8” and 11-1/8” Roman calendar dials in white or ivory.
