My First Attempt at Cinematography

This is my firs atempt at cinematography — and honestly, it was one of the most exciting creative challenges I’ve taken on so far. In this video, I focused on experimenting with: Lighting and shadows Camera angles and composition Slow, intentional camera movement Color grading to set the mood Telling a simple story through visuals I don’t have a huge budget or professional gear (yet!), but this project was all about learning how to create a cinematic feel with what I have. Every shot taught me something new about framing, pacing, and how powerful small details can be. I was inspired by the storytelling style seen in films from directors like Christopher Nolan and Denis Villeneuve — especially their use of atmosphere and tension — though this is obviously a beginner attempt!
