2mm white D/E VVSI/LC Micro Pavé Diamonds All around in 14 kt Yellow Gold eternity band

In this video jeweller and diamond setter Niels van Dooren setting 2 mm (0.03 ct) white loupe clean diamonds in a yellow gold wedding band. The diamonds are all exactly measuring 2 mm to create this smooth pattern. The use of Micro Pavé Technique creates a unique ring. The diamonds each weigh approximate 0.03 ct and are hold with shared prongs. By creating seats with a carbide round bur you can see the distance from another. Afterwards a bright cut is created with a 60 degree carbide graver which was high gloss polished. These are polished with ceradent polishing wheels. Furthermore tiny prongs are created by removing excess metal with a flat graver into the seat. Then, gently the diamonds are put in place into the ,relatively soft, yellow gold. With a tiny prong pusher the golden prongs are bent over the diamonds thereby holding tightly two diamonds at the same time. The ring was later polished with high gloss diamond polish.
