Northfield is a rock band whose sonic landscapes and profound lyrics find their home in a country they've dubbed "A Place Beyond the Pines". The band has gained recognition for their songwriting, which flips the classic pop formula on its head and isn't a self-invited guest on P3. Since 2018, the band has released the EPs "Looking Through the Lens", "A Place Beyond The Pines", and the mini-album "An Enchanted Waste of Love". Lead singer Simon Nordmark explains that the releases are like short stories in a larger collection; they contain themes and characters searching for answers while trying to articulate the feeling of being a millennial.
