The Silk Road Trip 2.0 finally begins! 🏍️ I start my ride from Almaty, just a few hours before my visa expires -somehow managing to cross into Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. The next day, I ride to one of my favorite places in all of Central Asia - Song Kul Lake, a breathtaking lake sitting 3,000 meters above sea level. This was my third time visiting Song Kul, and though I knew the route well, I wasn’t prepared for how deeply the sunset would move me. Probably only the second time in my life that I got truly overwhelmed by nature. It turned out to be one of the most beautiful riding days of my life- pure freedom, open roads, rock & roll, and tears of joy.
